The model was begun in 1994 and is the long-hull Perry fibreglass hull from Scale Shipyard. Resin weapons, doors,chocks,bits etc were also from the same company. Prop shaft and A-Frame were from Radestock England (Editors note, this English company is now called M. Patel. So far, I have not found a website for them.).
I worked fairly steadily when time allowed until 1998. All images were taken during this timeframe. The SPS-49 was completed in September '05 and I've been working steadily since then on remaining details.
